2024 Events

Tuesday 21st May 2024 | Orchard Meeting via Zoom | Donkey Lane Community Orchard Meeting - to discuss ongoing activity at the orchard | 7:30 pm via Zoom. email greeningchinnor@gmail.com for link.

Wednesday 22nd May 2024 | Donkey Lane Community Orchard Story Group Meeting | 2 pm via Zoom. We meet regularly to discuss social history and other 'stories' of the orchard. email greeningchinnor@gmail.com for link

Wednesday 22nd May 2024 | Repair CafĂ© Meeting | 7:30 pm in the Committee Room at Chinnor Village Hall. If you are interested in being part of this community event, please come along

Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd June 2024 | Donkey Lane Community Orchard open as part of the Chinnor Open Gardens. Take the opportunity to take in the lovely atmosphere of the Orchard and peruse the information boards to find out more about the Orchard and its past inhabitants.

Tuesday 4th June 2024 | Working Party at the Orchard  | 10 am - 12:30 pm. Tools and gloves supplied. Please wear suitable working clothes and footwear. All welcome.

Saturday 15th June 2024 | Working party at the Orchard | 1 pm - 3:30 pm. Tools and gloves supplied. Please wear suitable working clothes and footwear. All welcome.

Working parties at the Orchard
These take place on the first Tuesday of the month between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and the third Saturday of the month between 1:00  pm - 4:00.

To find the orchard
Head up Keen's Lane, Chinnor, cross the railway crossing and the orchard is directly on the right hand side. These working parties are to help regenerate and restore the ancient orchard and to explore the social history of the site.
